I provide professional doula support in Cumbria, offering compassionate care throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. My services include in-person birth doula support and virtual doula services tailored to your needs, as well as birth pool hire for those seeking a more comfortable water birth experience. I also offer baby massage and baby yoga classes to promote bonding and relaxation for both you and your baby. In addition, I run a Pandas Awareness & Support Group on the last Friday of every month (excluding bank holidays), providing a safe and welcoming space for parents to connect and receive support. If you are pregnant in Cumbria and looking for trusted doula care, have questions about birth support, or need guidance, I would love to hear from you.
Doula Diary is a heart-led support service created by Leanne Stitt, a mother, nurse, doula, and parent & baby well-being guide based in Cumbria.
At Doula Diary, my mission is to walk beside you through the powerful, vulnerable, and transformational time of becoming a parent, offering care that’s rooted in compassion, connection, and evidence-based knowledge.
Whether you’re planning for birth, navigating the early weeks with a newborn, or simply seeking a calmer rhythm in your parenting journey, I offer:
Birth & Postnatal Doula Support
Companionship and continuity through pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period — whether at home, in hospital, or wherever you feel safest.
Pregnancy Retreats & Workshops
Relaxing, restorative sessions to help you prepare mentally and emotionally for birth and parenting, often in beautiful natural settings.
Parent & Baby Wellbeing Classes
Gentle, bonding-based classes including:
– Baby Massage & Spa
– Baby Yoga
– Story Massage
– Seasonal Nature Sessions
– Sensory & Water Play
Peer Support & Community Spaces
I also host a free peer support group through PANDAS for anyone struggling with the emotional ups and downs of early parenthood.
At the heart of it all is the belief that you deserve to be supported, held, and honoured as you grow into parenthood, your way.
Let’s rewrite the story of early parenting, one gentle page at a time.
